Understand genetic diversity and structure of germplasm is premise conservation utilization. And core collection can reduce the cost difficulty conservation. Akebia trifoliata (Thunb.) Koidz an important medicinal, fruit oil crop, particularly in China. In this study, 28 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were used to assess 955 A. germplasms, determine their molecular identity extract a collection.
